The official website of the anime Blue Exorcist began streaming the full trailer of the new anime movie, on Monday.
The website’s gallery was updated also this Monday with screenshots from various scenes from the movie. The first film inspired by Kazue Kato’s supernatural manga, will open in TOHO theaters throughout Japan on December 28.
While supplies last, 500,000 moviegoers nationwide will receive a Blue Exorcist fortune figure, while 100,000 moviesgoers will receive a New Year’s greeting card with an exclusive illustration by Kato.
Blue Exorcist Movie Plot
The story focuses on Rin Okumura, a boy raised by a famous exorcist named Father Fujimoto. After an argument between the two, Rin discovers he is the son of Satan. Rin decides to fight his fate by joining the True Cross Academy to become an exorcist and defeat demons. However, when he draws his father’s sword, it releases a dark power within him.
