Crunchyroll has announced a collaboration with LG Electronics to launch its application service on LG Smart TVs in the U.S, and across international regions, starting today. The new Crunchyroll application will be available on newer LG Smart TVs with webOS 4.0 software (made after 2018 respectively).
Crunchyroll previously announced a collaboration with Samsung Electronics last February to launch its service on Samsung Smart TVs in the U.S. and some international markets.
The service has more than 13 million paying subscribers globally, serving 200 countries and territories. Crunchyroll’s expansive anime library includes more than 46,000 anime episodes and films, 3,300 Japanese music videos, and several concert specials.
