Blue Archive The Animation‘s newest character trailer previews the bespectacled Ayane Okusora (Sayaka Harada), the rules-abiding secretary of the Abydos High School Countermeasures Committee.
Blue Archive The Animation begins airing in April. The anime is based on the NEXON Games-developed free-to-play “Youth x Academy x Military RPG” Blue Archive, which Google Play describes as:
You have been appointed as an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club, Schale, located in Kivotos. It’s a huge academy city where numerous academies are clustered together.
Resolve the endless incidents that occur in Kivotos with charming allies full of personality, and build special memories with them!
The anime focuses on Abydos High School, which is so covered by sand that it is threatened by closure. The story begins when the five members of its Countermeasures Committee meet an adult called “Sensei.”
The game was released in Japan in February 2021 for iOS and Android and has received a number of animated promotional videos. Yostar Inc. handles the Japanese distribution for Blue Archive, while NEXON Company is the global publisher.
